With the biggest U.S. car event of the year starting just a few days ago, already big things have happened, including the Chevy Corvette Stingray C-7. The auto industry is showing its best this year, and we can’t wait to see what else they have in store.

Chevy has finally renewed the Chevy Silverado with a brand new interior and exterior design. Honda also introduced a new concept, the urban SUV.

With car makers showing their best concepts and 2014 automobiles the biggest and best we have seen is the brand new Chevrolet Corvette.  The Stingray is back and better than ever. Having many different Chevy cars molded into one.  The Stingray looks more like a lamborghini, Porsche, and Camaro mixed into a standard Corvette form.

Honda also showed us a new concept the Honda Urban SUV.  A stellar new approach for a Honda design.  The Honda Urban SUV gives us that same design we’ve been seeing lately from car manufactures , a “futuristic” design that has the front end and curves we have all been seeing from manufactures such as BMW. I interviewed two people and booth werent impressed 7th grader Jakob Harnish said he “s not a big fan of honda urban suv concept” and 12th grader Robert Kearns said “Mason never show me that car again... ever.” think it is safe to say that this concept like all other “futuristic” design is never going to happen.

Chevrolet has brought another big release this year, the 2014 Silverado we haven’t seen a new design to the Silverado since 2007 but is this change a good one?  The new Silverado looks like something that came straight out of a Transformers cartoon with a squared of grill.  Though the exterior isn’t that amazing you can definitely say that the interior is simply amazing. With an 8 inch touch screen display and many features that can’t be said in one article.

I’m not a big fan of “futuristic,” but Hyundai is stepping up its game with the HCD-14 concept that looks like a Bentley concept something you wouldn’t expect from Hyundai at all.  We haven’t seen everything from the Detroit Auto Show yet but there is still a lot to come from this show. Stay tuned to websites like autoweek.com and caranddriver.com to get updates from the biggest auto show of the year.
