In the hallways you see those girls who look like they have themselves together. They most likely laid their outfit out the night before and they change their bag to coordinate with what they’re wearing.
Have you ever wondered why they need such a huge bag? Or what they keep in their bag? I did an investigation with a friend of mine in Mr. Moore’s Wonderful World of Journalism, who does indeed have a huge bag.
As I entered the void that was Aspen Boyd’s purse, I noticed there was a lot of trash. When I say a lot, I mean a lot. At least thirty gum wrappers, a couple lollipop sticks (sticky of course), a half eaten candy cane, a full sized bottle of lotion, with matching body spray of course, a few flash drives, countless items of makeup (eleven lip products alone), jewelry (quote “Oh that’s where my other earring went!”).
Countless hair ties and bobby pins were thrown about carelessly as well. Not to mention the well fashioned stapled-up hole in the bottom of her beloved satchel as well.
The question is: are all of these products, pins, and candy wrappers necessary for everyday use? Aspen thought so, until I showed her the ways of how to clean out a purse. We separated everything into piles, and I persuaded her to get rid of a few of her lip products.
She still has lots of things in there, but at least it’s a bit more cleanly now. Don’t let the person fool you, ladies and gentlemen. You never know who they really are until you go through their personal belongings.
