The St. James Art Club uses the 'Souper Bowl' event to raise money for  Relay for Life. The bowls were made to hold soup, donated by local businesses. The bowls are then sold to the staff of St. James, which they can fill with soup. All of the money made will go to Relay for Life.

“We have raised several thousand dollars over the past five years using the super bowl,” says Mrs. Mitchell, "it is also a good way to showcase student talent."

Christina Smith and Cassie Newman choose glaze to paint bowls with.

Art Club Vice President Lindsey Southers is a pottery expert and leads the rest of the club through making and glazing bowls.

The kiln room is where the magic happens. When the bowls are finished being painted, they are fired in the kiln.

Art club has openings, and needs many more members. Meetings are after school from 3:15 to 4:00
