I’m sure that most of you have noticed the rising price of the food in the vending machine.
Some snacks, such as pretzels and Cheez-Its used to be only 75 cents, they are now $1.  Also, Pop Tarts used to be $1, they are now $1.25.

The question we are all asking, “WHY?”  Why is it that we must now pay over a ¼ the price we would pay, were we to buy a box of pop tarts?

The struggle of digging through every nook and cranny of your home and car, looking for change has now increased dramatically. What is this nonsense?

Also, what is with the vending machines shutting off at certain times?  Why is it only acceptable to go get food in the morning and after 2:00 p.m.?  Some of us, (all of us) do not understand the logic of this.

While I’m on the topic of complaining about vending machines, why don’t they serve juice?  Not just Powerade, but healthy juices, like 100% fruit juice.  Everyone complains that obesity is on the rise, but when you are serving your future generation sugar filled pop tarts, and sodas in the vending machines at school, it’s not helping anything.

While we are grateful to have the vending machines, we do wish that there were healthier, less expensive foods.
