Why I Love Mr. Moore

Why I Love Mr. Moore Everyone has those days where they can’t get out of bed because their eyes feel like a million pounds and their bodies feel like they are trapped by their soft comforters and pillows.


That used to be every morning for me until I took journalism. This class is the only reason I even come to school other than the fact that it is mandatory. I love getting my work done and choosing what I write about, it really makes a difference in your writing when there isn’t a prompt in your face and when you’re in a fun environment.

Coming to school is easy when you go to first block with your teacher telling the class how much you are appreciated and loved rather than getting yelled at because one student does something wrong. When you are in a positive environment you tend to work better than a negative environment.

I think that everyone in this class agrees that Mr. Moore is the coolest teacher in the school. This class is like a big family and it is sad to think that some of the seniors are leaving next year. This is my first semester in this class and I already feel like I have been in it for four years.

I would highly recommend any upcoming sophomores to take this class if you want to progress in writing with strong encouragement from a great teacher. I’m going to say goodbye to you guys the same way Mr. Moore says goodbye to us, with a high five and a “Rock on guys!”
