'Dirty Myrtle' show premieres next week

I’m pretty sure a majority of the residents in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas have seen or at least heard of the hit television show on MTV, "Buckwild."

Personally, I’ve always pondered on the thought of being in a reality TV show and the idea seems pretty cool. It seems that anyone and everyone can have their own reality show. So, why can’t I have mine? Everyone has stupid friends and ideas, so why not make it into a television show?

Dirty Myrtle will basically have anything from stupid stunts to going mudding in the backwoods. Now, I’m not trying to bash “Buckwild” or anything of the sort, but I want some of the glory too. Wouldn’t anyone? Dirty Myrtle will have a small “pilot” episode aired online (more than likely via YouTube) and if there is a high interest in the show more episodes will follow.

“Dirty Myrtle seems like a really fun idea. I would definitely watch it,” said sophomore Dillon Robinson. The personalities of the residents in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas are far from average. Dirty Myrtle will show everyone showing their true colors.

Also, there is a show hitting our area called “Myrtle Manor,” some so called “reality” TV show based on nothing more than actors portraying what they think Trailer Park residents truly are. Our show, Dirty Myrtle will surely blow this out of the water.
